Gym Manager: Mrs. Haydan
Mrs. Haydan is our Gym Manager and one of our competitive team coaches. She has been coaching for 20 years, 17 of those years at Champions! Originally from Beaufort, SC, Mrs. Haydan now lives in Rock Hill with her husband, Charlie, and daughter, Elliot. She graduated from Winthrop University in 2010 with her Bachelors Degree in Arts and Science. If you see Mrs. Haydan outside of the gym, she’s most likely playing cornhole or shopping at Target. Her favorite part about coaching is helping gymnasts achieve new skills and overcome fears!
Assistant Gym Manager: Mrs. Savannah
Mrs. Savannah, our assistant gym manager, coaches our AAU team as well as many recreational classes. She has been coaching for almost ten years, every single one of them at Champions! Originally from Vancouver, WA, Savannah now lives in Rock Hill with her husband, David, and two sons, Ezra and Erik. An avid reader and writer, Savannah earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and her Master’s Degree in Creative Writing. Due to her often multi-colored hair, Savannah is easy to spot in the wild! When she’s not coaching, you can often find her at a variety of concerts and musical theatre productions. Savannah’s favorite thing about coaching gymnastics is getting to know each of her gymnasts as human beings and helping them to grow into confident individuals, both in and outside of the gym.
Coach: Miss Leah
Miss Leah has been coaching all ages and levels of gymnastics since 2015. She took gymnastics at Champions when she was young and began coaching in high school. Miss Leah grew up in Rock Hill and is getting married next year (2024). She loves spending time with her family and taking trips to Charleston to visit her sister. Miss Leah’s favorite thing about coaching gymnastics is getting to be a part of all her gymnasts lives and helping them grow inside and outside of the gym!
